WHITE-LABEL WEBSITE PERFORMANCE FOR AGENCIES

Website speed optimization services for agencies that need more than a cache plugin.

Ghostworx diagnoses what is actually making client websites slow. Core Web Vitals, caching layers, JavaScript, images, fonts, third-party scripts, hosting, databases, CDNs, and the interactions between them.

We don't chase a perfect Lighthouse score by breaking functionality. We find the bottlenecks that matter, fix them carefully, and validate the result under real conditions.

WHAT AGENCIES BRING US

When "we already optimized it" isn't the end of the story.

Usually somebody has already installed the cache plugin, compressed the images, or run PageSpeed Insights. The site is still slow, unstable, or failing Core Web Vitals.

>_"PageSpeed says we’re fine, but the site still feels slow."
>_"Core Web Vitals got worse after we optimized it."
>_"The homepage is fast, but the important landing pages aren’t."
>_"Every speed fix seems to break a form, popup, or tracking script."
>_"Mobile performance is terrible and desktop is fine."
>_"We’ve installed every performance plugin and somehow made it worse."

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Find the bottleneck, not another optimization checkbox.

Website performance problems can come from the browser, WordPress, the server, the CDN, third-party scripts, or several layers at once. We diagnose the full delivery path before deciding what should change.

01

Core Web Vitals & Real-User Performance

Diagnose LCP, INP, CLS, loading behavior, responsiveness, and differences between lab scores and how real visitors actually experience the site.

LCP · INP · CLS · CrUX · Field Data

02

Caching, CDN & Delivery

Page caching, browser caching, CDN behavior, cache exclusions, edge delivery, headers, and situations where caching either isn't working or is breaking something important.

Page Cache · CDN · Headers · Edge Delivery

03

JavaScript & Main-Thread Performance

Render-blocking scripts, delayed execution, third-party JavaScript, long tasks, event behavior, and code that makes the page slow or unresponsive.

JavaScript · Main Thread · Long Tasks · Loading Strategy

04

Images, Fonts & Front-End Assets

Image sizing and formats, lazy loading, preload strategy, responsive images, fonts, CSS, and heavy assets that delay meaningful rendering.

Images · Fonts · CSS · Lazy Loading

05

Hosting, Database & Server Response

Slow TTFB, PHP execution, database behavior, hosting constraints, server configuration, background processes, and infrastructure bottlenecks.

TTFB · Hosting · Database · Server Response

06

Third-Party Scripts & Tracking

Analytics, tag managers, pixels, chat widgets, embeds, consent tools, and other scripts that quietly become a large part of the site's performance budget.

GTM · Analytics · Pixels · Third-Party Scripts

HOW WE DIAGNOSE

Measure first. Isolate the bottleneck. Fix without breaking things.

A green Lighthouse score isn't the goal. Real performance for real visitors is, with the forms, tracking, and functionality the site depends on still working afterward.

01

Measure

Test the pages, devices, user states, and conditions that actually matter. Compare lab data with field data where available.

02

Isolate

Determine whether the bottleneck lives in frontend assets, JavaScript, caching, WordPress, hosting, third-party scripts, or somewhere else in the stack.

03

Fix Surgically

Change what is actually causing the problem instead of disabling functionality just to improve a score.

04

Validate

Retest performance and the functionality that could have been affected, including forms, tracking, responsive behavior, logged-out sessions, and production conditions.

PROOF

The site got faster without sacrificing functionality.

A client site was scoring an E in GTmetrix on mobile, with a 5-second Largest Contentful Paint and nearly two and a half seconds of main-thread blocking. Earlier optimization attempts hadn't moved the numbers much, and the agency was wary of breaking functionality by pushing harder.

We measured the same page under the same throttled mobile conditions, isolated the bottlenecks in script loading and asset delivery, fixed those specifically, and retested the site's forms, tracking, and navigation before calling it done.

WHERE WE WORK

Performance problems don't stop at the browser.

A slow website can be caused by frontend code, WordPress, caching, the CDN, the database, hosting, tracking scripts, or the way those systems interact.

We work wherever the bottleneck actually lives.

WHITE-LABEL DELIVERY

Your performance expertise. Our name nowhere.

Ghostworx works behind your agency by default. Findings, implementation, testing, and documentation are delivered so your team can confidently own the client relationship.

Your agency controls the communication.
Your agency presents the work.
Your agency gets the credit.
WHAT THIS ISN'T

We're not chasing a 100 score.

A perfect lab score is meaningless if the optimization breaks forms, analytics, navigation, or the actual user experience. Ghostworx focuses on measurable performance improvements without sacrificing the things the website needs to do.

Disabling functionality just to improve Lighthouse
Installing five optimization plugins and hoping they cooperate
Treating every recommendation as equally important
Declaring victory because one test returned a green score

FAQ

Fair questions.

What agencies ask before handing us a slow site.

What is included in website speed optimization services?

Diagnosis and resolution of what is actually making a site slow: Core Web Vitals, caching and CDN configuration, JavaScript and main-thread performance, images and front-end assets, hosting and server response, and third-party scripts. Each engagement is scoped as a defined workstream with a measurable outcome.

Can you improve Core Web Vitals?

Yes. We diagnose LCP, INP, and CLS on the pages and devices that matter, then fix the causes rather than the symptoms. How far the numbers move depends on the site, the hosting, and the constraints of the existing stack, which we're clear about during intake.

Do you guarantee a specific PageSpeed or Lighthouse score?

No. Lab scores are useful diagnostics, not the goal. We aim for measurable real-user performance improvements without breaking the functionality the site depends on, and we validate both before calling the work done.

Can you optimize an existing WordPress site without rebuilding it?

In most cases, yes. WordPress speed optimization usually comes down to delivery, scripts, assets, caching, and hosting rather than the build itself. If a rebuild is really the only path, we'll tell you before any work begins.

Can you work with our existing caching plugin, CDN, and host?

Yes. We work inside the stack you already run, whether that's WP Rocket, FlyingPress, Cloudflare, or a managed WordPress host. We'll recommend changes when the stack itself is the bottleneck, but we don't start by swapping everything out.

What's the difference between Website Performance and Technical SEO?

Website Performance focuses on speed, responsiveness, loading behavior, Core Web Vitals, and the stack that affects them. Technical SEO focuses on crawlability, rendering, indexing, canonicalization, migrations, and how search engines interpret the site. They overlap, and we scope the work to whichever one the problem actually is.
