IT Health Check + 12-Month Plan, $1,500 one time We find the gaps. You get a game plan.

We go through what you have: computers, email, backups, security, software and the companies you rely on. Then you get a plain-English report and a 12-month plan, from someone who understands contractors, not a 70-page scan.

What we look at

The things that actually affect your business, not just what a scanner can see.

  • ComputersAge, condition, updates, protection, who owns them, and what’s due for replacement.
  • Business emailWho has admin access, how accounts are set up, login security, and former employees who still have access.
  • Files and backupsWhat’s important, where it lives, whether it’s really backed up, and what happens if it disappears.
  • Passwords and accessHow important accounts are protected, and who can get into what.
  • Internet and Wi-FiThe basic setup, obvious weak points, and what the business depends on.
  • PhonesWhat your team uses, and any problems getting in the way of work.
  • Business softwareYour CRM, estimating, project management, accounting, scheduling and field apps.
  • Technology providersWho handles what, and where nobody clearly owns something.
  • Domain and websiteWho owns the domain, hosting and access basics, and obvious problems.
  • SecurityPractical protections that are missing or poorly set up.
  • Technology costsMajor subscriptions, and places you may be paying twice for the same thing.
  • Recurring headachesThe tech problems that keep wasting your team’s time.
  • Growth plansThe changes you’ll likely need as the company grows.

What you get

Not a report full of severity scores. A list of what matters, in order, with what to do about each one.

Not every answer is “buy more IT.”
  • “Call your internet provider and have them replace this equipment.”
  • “Your current website company should fix this.”
  • “You don’t need to replace this yet. Revisit it next year.”

Every important item says what’s wrong, why it matters, what we recommend, a rough cost range and who should handle it.

  1. IT Health CheckA review of your important technology, accounts, computers, backup, security, providers and recurring problems.
  2. Plain-English findings reportNo technical dump. What’s working, what concerns us, and what actually matters.
  3. 12-month IT planPrioritized into now, the next 90 days, the next 6 months and the next 12 months.
  4. Budget guidanceReasonable budget ranges for the major recommendations.
  5. 60-minute reviewWe walk through the plan together and answer your questions.

The plan is yours. Have Ghostworx do the work, use the providers you already have, or take it somewhere else.

Sound familiar?

The health check is built for growing contractors whose technology has piled up over the years. A solo owner with one laptop usually doesn’t need it.

  • “I don’t really know what we have.”
  • “Everything has just kind of accumulated over the years.”
  • “My office manager handles some of this, my website guy handles some of it, and my software company handles some of it.”
  • “We’re growing and I want someone to look at everything.”
  • “I don’t necessarily need an IT company every month. I just want to know what needs fixing.”

One price, one time

No monthly commitment, and no free-if-you-buy pitch. You pay for an honest look and a plan you can use.

Already had the IT Health Check?

If you decide to have Ghostworx handle the recommendations or take over your ongoing IT, we’ll use the work we’ve already done instead of starting from scratch.

Common questions

Is this an IT audit?

Not the corporate, compliance-heavy kind. It’s a practical review by someone who understands contractors: what’s working, what concerns us, and what’s worth doing about it. Formal security or compliance assessments are quoted separately.

Isn’t this just an automated scan?

No. Tools help, but the value is understanding how your business runs and telling you what actually needs attention, in order, with rough costs. You won’t get a list of “17 medium-severity vulnerabilities.”

Do we have to sign up for monthly IT afterward?

No. The plan is yours. You can have Ghostworx do the work, hand it to your existing providers, or take it somewhere else.

Does the $1,500 count toward Managed IT?

There’s no blanket credit. If you have Ghostworx handle the recommendations or take over your ongoing IT, we use the work the health check already covered instead of starting from scratch, and your proposal reflects that.

What if we have more than 10 people or more than one location?

Then it’s quoted separately, along with setups that include servers, complicated networks, formal security or compliance requirements, or unusually complex systems. Tell us what you have and you’ll get a price before anything starts.

Is this worth it for a one-person business?

Usually not. If it’s just you and a laptop, Essential Care or on-demand help is normally the better fit. The health check is for teams where technology has piled up over the years.
